WebNov 8, 2010 · The fuse for the tailight pops everytime I put it in, and when I try to put in a higher fuse, the car attempts to light itself on fire. So there's a short somewhere. I ran my own tailight circuit and license plate lights, but is there a way to fix the tailight circuit and maybe just cut the old circuit for the tails out entirely, just leaving the gauge cluster lights?
