Web24 okt. 2024 · The first thing we are going to do is activate the main function of filament detection. We will edit the Configuration.h file and look for the FILAMENT_RUNOUT_SENSOR function. By default in Marlin it is deactivated, so we will activate it by eliminating the two characters in front of it “//”. WebMy issue is (regarding Creality) is it's transitioning away from open-source systems, making it harder to modify printers and replace parts cheaply. Even if Prusa's Mk4 is comparatively overpriced, I would feel much more comfortable knowing I can do whatever I want with my machine, so I still use my Ender 3 V2 and will be looking to purchase the Mk4 soon.
